Project Manager

We are currently looking for a Project Manager for our Development and Outreach Unit, at the Institute of Modern Media, the media arm of AIQuds University, located in AlBireh, Ramallah.

Candidate will be responsible for project planning, monitoring and reporting, managing, following up, developing, and reporting directly to the department Director

Responsibilities

The position requires significant hard work with ability to deliver under high pressure, and meet deadlines.
The work will involve a proactive approach on a wide range of activities that includes but not limited to the following:

Identify and develop new project ideas and preparation of project proposals Develop project documents Maintain good relations with counterparts

Prepare and draft administrative, financial and donor reports in both Arabic and English on project process and evaluations

Participate in the selection of consultants, including drafting Terms of Reference and contracts

Contribute to the strategic thinking and planning within the department and the organization.

Facilitate daily implementation of projects Manage the production of the required deliverables Direct and motivate the project(s) team Be responsible for the project(s) administration Carrying out translation work as required

Qualifications/ Selection Criteria

The successful candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of the Palestinian media and education sectors

A university degree, preferably in project management, media At least 3 years of experience in project management Fluency in written English and Arabic Good knowledge of donor relations

Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, design and implement projects Genuine commitment to highest ethical standards and to sustainable development Motivated and enthusiastic about the opportunities and challenges of working in the Palestinian media and education sectors Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish, develop and maintain relationships
