Project Coordinator

In the Reinforcement of Tertiary Health Care in the Palestinian Territory
The Belgian Development Agency (BTC) in cooperation with the Ministry of Health is seeking
qualified candidates for a Part - Time Project Co-director Post in the area of Health in Palestine.
Duration and location
The Project Coordinator will be based in Ramallah and/or Nablus with frequent field visits to the West Bank and Jerusalem.
The contract duration is one year with possible extensions.

Task description
-Assist the overall coordination of the program
-Assist coordination with BTC
-Assist coordination with the hospital administration and the key stakeholders
-Monthly site visits
-Assist the organisation of monitoring and evaluation
-Assist the organisation of Mid-Term Evaluation
-Ensure that Technical Reports (Quarterly, Annually and Final) and Financial Reports are produced
-Organisation of follow up meetings with the key stakeholders
-Supervise the procurement and the implementation of activities under the project
-Supervise financial management as co-director of the project.

Required profile
-University graduate in Public Health and/or Hospital Management; background in Cardiology is a plus
-Experience in public health or health financing
-Experience in coordination of health project
-Experience with the International Cooperation
-Excellent level of English both spoken and written
-Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
