    Model Schools Network (MSN) Program


    AMIDEAST, an international non-profit organization in the West Bank and Gaza, is seeking full-time qualified candidate for its USAID funded education program-Model Schools Network (MSN) Program. AMIDEAST is recruiting for the position of Monitoring & Evaluation Program Officer to be based in its main office in Ramallah:
    Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Program Officer

    The Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Program Officer will provide support to the program’s monitoring and evaluation activities. Responsibilities may include: analyzing and interpreting program data; drafting of reports in English; drafting of evaluation forms in Arabic and/or English; conducting observations of program activities; serving as a representative of the M&E Department between the MSN Program and schools; assisting with the annual administration of MSN testing; and supporting the M&E Specialist and other program staff. Considerable field work is expected.

    Applicants should have the following credentials and experience:

    -Master’s degree in education or other social science or related field;
    -2-3 years experience in education, M&E, donor-funded programs or other NGO-related field;
    -Proficiency in both English and Arabic, with excellent English writing skills;
    -Analytical skills;
    -Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, as well as other data management applications;
    -Precise attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task;
    -Experience with children/schools (preferred); and
    -Valid driver’s license (preferred).
